You don't see the animals but you live them, you enter their habitat with discretion and they give you their pictures of daily life, like a herd of zebras on the hill around a pool of water dominated by a lioness with her cub.

The first great emotion among many is given by the Tarangire park: majestic baobabs, rocking elephants playing and fighting in the water, an elegant stilt house on the hill from whose terrace the gaze sweeps from the large lake to the lush green plain.

Lake Manyara continually amazes you with sudden changes of landscape, now savannah then forest and again lagoon and swamp with a thousand shades of green, where together buffaloes with egrets on the back, gialibù that open the umbrella wings, storks, ibis, pelicans and hippos.

Paradise can be imagined if you observe the Ngorongoro from above, a large circular crater where hundreds of thousands of animals live in freedom. The view from above is breathtaking and the descent into the caldera is no less impressive, where the vegetation is first a dense intertwining of umbrellas of acacias that gradually changes to become savannah. Observing giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, gazelles, jackals, vultures, buffaloes is of great effect but one meeting in particular was unique for us: His majesty the Lion with his court of lionesses.

More safaris in the boundless expanses of the Serengeti. Here the savannah is characterized by the presence of kopjes, rounded granite boulders and home of big cats that you can look into your eyes with binoculars. Every day you think you've seen the best of nature's spectacle ... and yet the next day it still manages to amaze you. The great migration: wildebeests and zebras as far as the eye can see you for hundreds of kilometers, sudden appearances of groups of serene giraffes that graze the foliage of the acacias or clumsy ostriches that run in a disorderly way.

Small earth huts offer with disarming essentiality the picture of a life spent completely under the sky and shared among the inhabitants: children who bring animals to pasture, women who provide water or sell their products on the street, men who work the land with rudimentary tools, young Masai who train to make high jumps perhaps in preparation for a party. And then again playful children who laugh while washing in the river or the smile of a young girl who shows you her two little lambs.
